Tonight we spread out a big blanket on the living room floor and ordered pizza. It's possibly the first picnic we've had in awhile without a baby crawling into everyone's food. I was reminded how often we used to go on dinner picnics. We would walk to a park nearby, or pack up something, often spaghetti, and drive to a favorite picnic table. I'm convinced we'll be starting that up again, asap.
