25 September 2015

This week went by quicker than I could keep up. I seem to remember thinking cooler weather was coming, but 90s are in my weekend forecast. It's only September- I should really know better. While I'd really love a good rainy day, but I'll take the sunshine tomorrow. We have plans to go to the farmers market for breakfast and fresh produce. Maybe I'll get around to some meal planning. Ha!

Here's a few links for your Friday:

Are selfies more dangerous than shark attacks? Seriously?

Have you heard about the Teal Pumpkin Project? As someone who's developed life-threatening food allergies as an adult, our house will be participating, for sure.

This list of signs you're a wellness junkie made me laugh.

I've been making my way through Jud Wilhite's segments when I have time to turn them on in the background. I'm currently listening to his Pursued series (for some reason the first one is here) and, even though I take it in small chunks, I'm still getting a lot out of it.

Will you be watching the moon this weekend?

Grain-free with dark chocolate, pumpkin, and sea salt? These cookies sound like just the sort of thing I want to make. Weekly.

Somehow a soup with lemon, white beans, kale, and pasta sounds like the perfect soup to transition from summer to fall.

I don't wear scarves often and if I do, it's more for function than anything else. I might be able to get on board the blanket scarf trend I've been seeing, though. Maybe because I would be wearing a blanket. Would that feel weird in public? I can't decide.

I've seen DIY scratch art around a few places. This tutorial looks super easy and like something my kids would love.

Hope your weekend is wonderful!
