Friday already? Jason took the last few days off of work to hang out at home. We hit up the playground for the last of our jacket-free trips and managed to sneak in a couple of naps. It's been great and this weekend is going to the icing on the cake.

Here's a roundup of links to enjoy for the next few days. Or for the next few minutes while you're at work waiting for the weekend.

Janelle Monae fan over here. Her protest song is incredibly powerful. I've had it on repeat for the last week.

This piece about what it's like for someone prone to anxiety or depression around the fall equinox might be beneficial for you or someone you know.

I'm a sucker for unexpected animal encounters. This interaction between a lioness and baby baboon is no exception.

I know you must have read about Ahmed Mohamed. I love seeing the support. Go Ahmed!

Have you heard of 4th Trimester Body Project? The book is now available.

Detroit has my heart (both my girls were born there). I am in love with this entire flower house experience and wish I could be there to see it.

Socality Barbie made me laugh.

I think these giant friendship pins are my kind of afternoon craft project.

We just got this dress for my four-year-old (in navy stripes, of course) and it's already a favorite. I wish it came in my size.

These sweats from Costco are only $9.99 and, quite possibly, the most comfortable sweats I've ever owned. Trust me on this- I went back and bought a second pair. They run a little big- I got a small and found them plenty roomy. Bonus- I'm 5'0'' and found the tapered ankle to be the perfect length. That never happens. Have I raved enough?

I have some posts planned for next week that I hope you'll enjoy. Thanks for reading!
